This website exists because I'm tired of watching common sense get treated like it's the problem while the actual problems get ignored.
I'm from the Jersey Shore. I've been a nurse. I've spent years watching bureaucracy protect itself better than it protects the people it's supposed to serve. I've watched politicians promise affordability while New Jersey keeps finding new ways to empty your wallet.
Now look around.
We're told the biggest threat is asking questions.
We're told election integrity is somehow controversial.
We're told enforcing immigration law is the problem instead of the people breaking it.
Meanwhile New Jersey is pouring millions into immigration legal defense programs while families are wondering why their property taxes still look like a second mortgage. Governor Mikie Sherrill has made opposition to Trump immigration enforcement a centerpiece of her administration, even as the fight over Delaney Hall continues to dominate headlines. Source: NJ.gov
That's exactly backwards.
Here's what you'll get from me.
I'll call out Republicans when they deserve it.
I'll absolutely call out Democrats when they're selling nonsense.
I'll fact-check before I hit publish.
And when something deserves to be laughed at, I'm going to laugh.
Because somewhere along the way, politics stopped being public service and turned into performance art.
